Ken "The Flash" Oesch is an international man of mystery and the official streaker at the Yacht Club, an infamous bar in Grand Rapids, Michigan’s Easttown neighborhood, known for having Stroh’s and Pfeiffer's on tap and infrared sandwiches. He earned the moniker "The Flash" due to his uncanny ability to disappear from the bar precisely when it is his turn to buy a round of drinks, as well as his fashion preferences;

  

Early life and career

Ken grew up specializing in avoiding toxic masculinity and mastering the art of sitting backwards on straight back chairs. His peers frequently describe him as a local legend who was highly susceptible to peer pressure and easily tricked into stripping to his tighty whities and diving into “The Pond” behind the Wege Center.

Historic Accomplishments

Sports:

Ken was known for his sports accomplishments during and following his Aquinas College career. He was a member of the only team in Aquinas history to lose every game of football and bowling ever played. His team was awarded a trophy and special recognition at the season ending All Sports Banquet held at the prestigious Sweden House Buffet.

Music:

Ken was a founding member of the Electric Onion rock band. Along with band mates Mike “Spuddy” Verlin, Mike “Bald Eagle” Baldiga, Dave “Big Mac” McCarthy and Bob “Poser” Braun the Onion wrote and recorded some of the 70s most beloved Rock Anthems including “She’s Got Sand In Her Crotch” the first Onion hit to go Platinum. The band introduced many instruments that were unconventional at the time including Electric Puffed Rice, Canned Vegetables, Pots-N-Pans and Tissue & Comb Kazoos.

Unfinished Business:

Ken. Mike, Dave and Bob had planned to paint “Casa Spud” on the propane tank outside of Mike “Spuddy” Verlin’s house trailer under the cover of darkness, however that stealthy project never materialized.
